The meeting offers scope for discussing recent developments and future directions in the field of Chemistry. We are hopeful that in addition to the scientific activities, the surroundings of Gangtok city will make your trip memorable.

 

Conference Registration Fee:

 

Students                           : Rs. 1000

Scientists/Academia        : Rs. 2000

Delegates from Industry  : Rs. 3000

Accompanying Person     : Rs. 1000

 

Accommodation: Accommodation may be arranged on request in the Institute hostels (double bed room with attached bath room, charges Rs. 500 per head per day) or Hotels at Rangpo (5 km), Singtam (7 km) or at Gangtok (35 km). Accommodation charges are to be borne by the delegates for which an advance of Rs. 500 (for hostel) and Rs. 1500 (for hotel) is to be sent along with the registration fee. The tariff for different grades of hotels will be ranging from Rs. 1000 - Rs. 5000.

The participants are advised to carry adequate winter garments as the temperature in the month of February is around 15-18 ⁰C at SMIT campus and around 10-15 ⁰C at Gangtok.

 

Payments: Payments should be made in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of SIKKIM MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY / SMIT payable at “GANGTOK”.
